    Public paddling now allowed at Lake Samsonvale

    South East Queensland’s third largest dam storage Lake Samsonvale has been opened to public paddle craft for the first time. Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy Dr Anthony Lynham, Member for Kurwongbah Shane King and Member for Pine Rivers Nikki Boyd today officially opened the new paddle craft launch facility at Forgan Cove.     A $30 Million upgrade to Dakabin train station was announced today in order to improve accessibility, parking and security in response to significant growth in the region.
