Future Students Can 'Meet USC' on Campus

USC will open the doors to four of its South East Queensland campuses this Sunday, 1 August, for its annual Meet USC events.

From 11am to 2pm, prospective students and their families will be able to explore campuses and learning facilities at Fraser Coast, Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Caboolture and chat face-to-face with academics, support staff and current students.

The events are held each year to complement USC’s annual Open Day, which was provided online this year in mid-July.

USC Pro Vice-Chancellor (Students) Professor Denise Wood AM encouraged visitors to check the USC Open Day Online site before attending the Meet USC events and to register in advance.

“Our immersive Open Day online platform is likely to answer many of the initial questions that prospective students will have about studying at USC,” Professor Wood said.

“After viewing the excellent videos and information we have online, they will be able to ask more specific questions about degrees when they attend Meet USC.

“Some key areas of our campuses will be open on Sunday, so people can explore USC’s labs, equipment, technology and other learning spaces.

“And our Student Services representatives will be available to discuss the additional support we offer our students – from helping with the application process to supporting their mental and physical wellbeing as they progress through their degrees.” USC’s interactive Open Day Online is at openday.usc.edu.au
