Cash in on Bank of I.D.E.A.S
Local businesses and community groups can withdraw a wealth of knowledge from the Bank of I.D.E.A.S when its acclaimed founder and director Peter Kenyon shares his expertise this October in a series of intimate workshops.
Moreton Bay Regional Council and the Senior Australian of the Year (WA) for 2017 will host three workshops across the region from October 5 to 7 to help local businesses make that important next step and communities create effective, sustainable change.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Lifestyle and Amenity Spokesperson Councillor Matt Constance encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs, community organisations and businesses to secure their place at the workshops and uncover helpful advice on how to get the ‘tills ringing’, how to connect with communities and the skills behind asset-based community development.
“Since founding the Bank of I.D.E.A.S in 1989, Peter Kenyon has helped more than 2,000 communities in Australia and across the world come up with creative ways to spark economic and community activity,” Cr Constance said.
“Whether you’re a volunteer or resident who wants to inspire others and help build our community, or a budding business owner who’s looking to stand out from the crowd, these workshops are your chance to learn from one of the best.”
Places are limited and bookings are essential.
Peter Kenyon said he looked forward to connecting with the Moreton Bay community.
“Better communities come from the inside out, and I look forward to being part of the catalyst to creating a healthy and sustainable enterprising Moreton Bay,” Mr Kenyon said.
